UK Helicopter Championships – 19th and 20th July Calcott Manor in the Cotswolds hosted the 2008 UK Helicopter Championships in which approximately 20 helicopters took part. The two day event took place on 19th and 20th July and included a day of navigational exercises and a day of precision flying. Hayward Aviation were proud to sponsor this event and also the UK team entry for the World Helicopter Championships held in Germany during August 2008 in which the squad finished third behind the Russian and German teams.
